  • What does it mean to be an open-door church?
As a Christ-centered church, we are intentional in being a church for all people regardless of race, color, gender, status, affectional and/or sexual orientation, family configuration, or physical/mental condition and all other distinctions which are the rich tapestry of God's creation. We celebrate and affirm diversity!

  • What kind of worship style does the Vision Church have?
Our worship style is rooted in the African American-Pentecostal religious experience. We highly emphasize praise and worship. Therefore, we are expressive in our worship; we clap and lift our hands, shout with a loud voice, dance before the Lord, and express our thanksgiving through singing and giving. We also believe in solemn reflection, meditation and moments of quiet worship.

  • What do you believe about tithes and offerings?
We do believe in giving to support the work of the ministry. We do not, however believe that anyone should be forced to give or made to feel uncomfortable concerning the matter. We believe that giving is personal. We encourage you to pray about how you would like to support.

  • I've been hurt in the Church and I'm afraid I'll be hurt again.
From the Pastor to the pew, we have all been hurt by "church-people". Because of our experiences with people in our past, we are sensitive to the emotional wounds many of us deal with. We are not a perfect Church, there are none, but we make a committment to treat you with respect, dignity, and unconditional love in the spirit of Christ.
